London, Ontario - The McLeod Report - Philip McLeod

LONDON (Dec. 2) – City council has approved the annual Christmas season gift to London shoppers – free parking at selected on-street meter locations downtown, along Richmond Row and in Old East Village.

At most of the eligible locations free parking is for two hours only. After that vehicles are subject to parking tickets. Meter locations where the parking is free are marked with a notice on the meter.

Free parking does not apply to city-owned parking lots, or in locations where signs indicate no parking is permitted. Free parking ends on Dec. 31.

This online map shows the free parking locations. For more information phone 519-661-4537.
